Owner, Operator, Trainer
Jamie’s driving passion is for everyone (including himself) to strive for the best version of themselves. In 2020, Jamie was voted the Spectator’s Readers’ Choice Diamond award winner for Fitness Instructor/Trainer. With over ten years of personal training expertise and specialized fitness certifications, Jamie educates his clients about living a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Drawing from his personal experience as a Northern BC goalie and his extensive education, Jamie recognized the importance of combining strength and mobility into his training programs. With this goal in mind, Jamie pursued Fascial Stretch Therapy as a life-changing form of manual therapy to help his clients lead pain-free lives.
After going back to Northern BC during the pandemic to fight wild fires, Jamie realized his dream to empower trainers and clients to reach their full potential. A1 Performance Club is the culmination of that dream.

Kevin Buckley has achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education as well as a Master’s degree in Professional Kinesiology (the study of human movement). Certified as both a Pre-Script Level 1 Coach and a Strength Systems International Level 2 Coach, his expertise is in high demand. During his professional career, Kevin has gained experience working with the general population, mentally and physically disabled, elderly, post-surgical, and athletes of various levels (high-school/collegiate/professional/Olympic). Despite having a multifaceted athletic background himself, he ultimately found his calling as an educator in the realm of human movement, with a focus on injury prevention and sport performance.
Kevin has extensive experience in injury assessment and rehabilitation, helping clients to improve their mobility, reduce age-related pains, and advance overall movement efficiency. He believes in a movement-based approach to managing pain and improving quality of life.

Driven by over a decade of passion for strength training, Asia brings purpose, energy, and a deep-rooted love for fitness into her sessions. What began as a personal journey evolved into a mission to help others unlock their potential and feel empowered in their own bodies.
Asia thrives on being part of her clients' transformations-whether it's helping new moms regain confidence, guiding older ones to feel strong and vibrant again, or enhancing athletic performance for runners, swimmers, and more, through dynamic hybrid training.

Coach James is a certified Personal Trainer through the Brookbush Institute, with a passion for health and fitness that began at age 15. Having struggled with being overweight and the toll it took on his mental health, James sought out a personal trainer who taught him the foundations of nutrition and exercise—an experience that transformed his life both physically and mentally.
Inspired by his own journey, James is dedicated to helping others achieve their goals and improve their lives. He believes in building strong, trusting relationships with clients to create the most effective and personalized approach for every individual.

Alexandria is a certified trainer, bodybuilding specialist, and mental health advocate who transformed her life after starting her fitness journey at 300 lbs. With 15 years of experience and a diploma in Health, Wellness & Fitness from Mohawk College, she specializes in hourglass figure training and pre/post-natal fitness. In 2024, she coached herself to 4th place in her first Wellness Division bodybuilding competition. Passionate about both physical and mental health, Alexandria encourages others to prioritize mindset and emotional well-being as key factors in achieving lasting fitness success
